How To Talk To Women

Memorizing a line ain't gonna cut it. But changing your mentality will.

Political Cornerby Stephen Thompson, posted on Wed, May. 28, 2008
John McCain is a war hero according to many people and I think is he too.  He is a son of a 4 Star Admiral, a fighter Pilot and a highly publicized POW for many years in Hanoi

However, John is getting old and many of the young bucks in the country don’t share the ideological world view of Senator McCain. For example, this week McCain went after Senator Obama for supporting the New GI bill and telling "McCain he should support this as well."  McCain got pissed and personally stated he would not be lectured by someone "who did not feel it was his responsibility to serve our country in uniform."

This quote is a prime example of McCain mentality and how his view point is not shared by many Americans.  Most of us under the age of 50 did not served in the military or even ROTC.   Do we have a lack of responsibly to country because we have not served in uniform?  Can we not therefore criticize our Military or Government because we are not members of either?   I mean if my country called on me to defend her, of course I would go. I have such a deep regard and respect for those in military service throughout our history. However, we have not had a draft since 1974.  Which tells me the Government is not serious about adding more men and women to the Arm Forces?   Are we supposed to feel as if we should sign up for a career in the military out of Duty to our country? It seems Senator McCain needs to wake up and make better argument than "You should have been in the military or you can't be president."

McCain does not have the swagger he used to have when he was on the straight talk express. Oh sure, he has great DNA and will live for another 30 years, example look at his mother she is 90. However, he is boring and the general population thinks so too...

Senator McCain supports the War in Iraq, wants to bomb Iran and thinks that lower taxes will answer many of the country’s national problems.

I just think John is behind the time and is dull. He needs new blood.  No, Not Mitt Romney. Romney wants to be the Vice President so bad he would give 30 gold pieces for the title.  No, John needs to pick someone so accepted and main stream that he could surprise and win the elections in a walk. Now Bobby Jindal is a good choice, young Republican and of Indian decent, but not popular enough.

Still, to close this Deal he needs Colin Powell…..

Colin does a lot for McCain. He has strong military and foreign policy experience and he is highly endorsed by the American People. Yes, Powell is an African American and yes, people would be very compelled to vote for the republicans. McCain could win because people would not feel as if they are voting against a minority or a woman, but voting for the better candidate and party. McCain could win by putting Powell on the Ticket and saying that he believes "George W. Bush is one of the worst Presidents in American History."

Now McCain is not going to do this...But he would win in November and become the oldest American President.  McCain will not take my advice, but he’ll still make history McCain will become the first Republican to lose to an African American candidate for president.
