Terrell Owens signs with Bengals

By Eric Thurow posted on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 @ 10:17 PM - (General)
Two reality television stars, one NFL team.  T.O. and Ochocinco.

Where exactly will T.O. fit in on the Bengals offense?  Especially since the Bengals signed Antonio Bryant back in March.

The National Football League's Cincinnati Bengals have reached a 1-year contract agreement with Terrell Ownens for $2 million plus a possible $2million in incentives.  Owens should be in camp with the team in a day or two.  Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, called the incentives "very reachable" and indicated that they are consistent with Owens' production in Buffalo, where he made $6.5 million last season.  Rosenhaus expects the deal to be finalized Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

On his Twitter account, all Owens would say was, "Hoping 2 b a Bengal w/in the 24hrs!!" He later said: "Ocho Uno is coming 2 town!! Hey Robin, Batman will b there soon!"

Players are required to report for the start of Bengals training camp Wednesday in Georgetown, Ky. According to The Cincinnati Enquirer, Owens isn't expected to attend the morning practice Thursday, but he likely will show up for the night session.

Another main question to ask is, will their friendship get in the way of their professional relationship, as far as playing on the same team?  As many know, Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco are good friends both off of the field and away from their VH1 reality television shows.

The addition of both Terrell Owens and earlier, Antonio Bryant, adding to Chad Ochocinco and running back Cedric Benson will make the Bengals the team to beat in the AFC North.  These weapons will bring out a lot choices for play selection for quarterback Carson Palmer.
